Counseling is available to eligible youth and their families residing in Salt Lake County.
Youth can either meet with the therapist alone or with the family; the parents do, however, need to come to at least the first appointment.
Counseling may be short-term or long-term in duration, depending on the need.
Family therapists are generally available Monday through Friday from Noon to 8 PM. Limited weekend appointments are also available. If a youth or a family does not have an appointment and wants to speak to a therapist right away, they can access free crisis therapy by phone or in person at the Juvenile Receiving Center. This service does not require an appointment and is available 24-hours a day. Call us for an appointment or more information at 385-468-4500.
